Sales Manager (Inside Sales)

Based: Edinburgh – office based

IndigoVision is currently recruiting for a Sales Manager, responsible for Inside Sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business through generating new sales leads, managing assigned sales accounts and providing support to the field sales team. This is a very exciting role with opportunities to develop and grow your career within an innovative, driven company.

Responsibilities 

Lead generation

  • Generate a quota of new, quality leads for the Sales team – through a range of activities including cold calling and targeted email
  • Help to qualify leads that are generated from Trade shows and other events
  • Use Salesforce.com as the lead tracking and follow-up tool.

Sales account management

  • Responsible for account management of smaller authorised partners
  • Liaise with existing but dormant IndigoVision partners
  • Build relationships with authorised and prospective partners based on knowledge of IndigoVision’s technology, products, and services
  • Help to manage renewals for the Software Upgrade Programme

Support for Field Sales team

  • Act as an alternative point of contact for customers when other Sales personnel are not available
  • Assist field sales team in generating quotes
  • Set up in-person meetings and webinars for regional sales managers, meeting a quota to be established

Required skills and experience

  • Solid experience in targeted sales such as software, technology or media sales
  • Must be highly computer literate
  • Degree level education preferred – good exam results in English and Maths are essential
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
  • Highly motivated and ambitious
  • Customer facing experience
  • Team player and ability to work in a target driven environment
  • Excellent organisation skills
