What is ONVIF?

ONVIF is a standard for physical security which is open to anyone and ensures interoperability regardless of manufacturer. Initially focused on video, ONVIF is being extended to other areas of physical security including Access Control.

Why do we like it?

It gives our partners and end users freedom to choose from hundreds of camera manufacturers through us implementing just one protocol, ONVIF.
