Powerful and distributed alarm management

Monitor alarms from anywhere on the network for global visibility of incidents as they occur in real time. Distribute responsibility for handling different priorities of alarms to those with the right knowledge and authority: day-to-day alarms handled by on-site operator, system faults handled by maintenance staff, critical alarms handled by HQ.

Alarms from any source

Respond to alarms triggered from many types of external devices such as door contacts, motion detectors, PIR sensors and panic buttons. The external devices are connected to inputs on IndigoVision transmitters, cameras and alarm panels, allowing simple, quick and low cost integration of alarms.

Alarm zones

Group alarm inputs in an area such that only a single alarm is generated for the area, regardless of the number of activations. Only deal with one alarm even when there are multiple events related to the same incident.

Reduce false alarms

Combine alarm inputs using logical expressions so that a new alarm is generated only when conditions are met, reducing false alarms. Improve time management and system effectiveness.

Analytics alarms

Manage video analytics data "at-the-edge" without the need for additional servers or software. Respond to alarms triggered by video analytics events such as motion, virtual tripwire, hooded camera and counter-flow. For more information on IndigoVision analytics, please refer to details here.

Alarms from 3rd party alarms

Integrate with an extensive range of 3rd party systems, including leading access control and PoS systems. Respond to alarms triggered by all these systems, bringing together all alarms for the whole site in one intuitive interface.

Diagnostic alarms

Monitor the health of the system, such as loss of video signal or network connectivity. Immediately be aware of any issues regardless of whether the video is being viewed or recorded.

Audible alerts

Alert security personnel to alarm situations with sounds. Use the sounds appropriate to the type of alarm and priority level to grab attention and mobilize action.

Visually verify alarm

Review the incident that caused the alarm while simultaneously monitoring the live situation. Visual verification reduces false alarm rates and provides compelling evidence.

Locate alarm

Quickly identify the location of the alarm on a map display with alarm location highlighted automatically when an alarm is received.

Prioritized display of video on alarm

Dedicate one or more viewing monitors for alarms, view alarms from many sources simultaneously; critical alarms get highest priority for display.

Alarm workflow and escalation

Handle alarms in a logical workflow. Pass an alarm to another user when it is not handled in a specified time period, or automatically escalate to a higher level or site. Guarantee a response to incidents in a timely manner and ensure that nothing is missed.

Alarm procedures

Follow alarm-handling instructions that are tailored to the operational requirements of your site. Alarm procedures ensure that all security personnel handle alarms consistently and efficiently.

Flexible schedules

Schedule the days and times when events and activity will trigger alarms and when they won't. Flexible alarm schedules enable you to completely customize exactly when and how you want the system to be 'armed'.

Alarm actions

Automate response to events and alarms using flexible and configurable actions. Move cameras to preset positions without operator intervention for faster response; send e-mails to communicate the situation to everyone that needs to know; drive relay outputs to automate actions such as switching on lights, sounding buzzers; broadcast audio messages to PA systems. Simple and powerful automation.

Alarm reports

Collate incident evidence quickly and easily using powerful alarm search and reporting capabilities. Report data is available in standard formats to allow seamless integration into other systems.
